1. Click the "Download Now" link to download the file.
2. If the Export Compliance Disclaimer window appears, click the "I agree" link to accept the agreement.
3. When the File Download window appears, click "Save" to save the file to your hard drive.
Install:
====
The following steps show how to install Lasso on systems running supported Microsoft Windows operating systems.
1. Run the .exe file to start the installer.
2. The Welcome to the Dell Lasso 3.1 Installation Wizard screen appears.
3. Click Next.
4. The License Agreement displays.
5. Click I Agree to accept the terms of the agreement.
6. Lasso Dependencies page checks for dependent components like NaviCLI6.26 and .NET Framework v2.0.
- Click "Yes" when asked to install Navisphere CLI
7. Select destination folder to install Lasso in "Choose Install Location" screen. The default install location is C:\Program Files\Dell\Lasso
8. Select Security Level in "Specify Security Level" screen. There are 4 different security levels available at present:
- Save Environment, Usernames and Passwords - this is the default security level where all the devices (IP Address, name), their credentials will be stored in the password vault. For details see Password Vault.
- Save Environment, Usernames - in this only the devices and username will be stored in the password vault.
- Save Environment - only the devices will be stored in the password vault when selected.
- Do not save any information (more secure) - nothing will be stored in the password vault. The user has to provide all the device and credential before running any collection.
9. Specify shortcut preferences
10. Click Install to complete the installation process.
11. Click Finish. Lasso will start in UI mode. Remove the checkbox "Run Lasso 3.1.0" if you dont want to start Lasso immediately.
Run:

1. To launch Lasso GUI, click Start-> All Programs-> Dell-> Lasso and select Lasso.
